Yakama Nation Cleans-Up Tire Piles

The Yakama Nation was successful in getting help from the State of Washington DOE to clean up several very large tire piles on their reservation. The Pump-house Tire Pile pictured here was listed as the third largest illegal tire pile in the state.



Spokane Tribe Installs Transfer Station Scales

The Snoqualmie Tribal Casino Opened in November, 2008


As part of the Snoqualmie Tribe’s new Solid Waste Management Plan, the new casino will be composting kitchen waste as well as recycling the canola oil for use in their vehicles. The casino has a beautiful setting near Snoqualmie Falls and west of North Bend, WA.
